Korčula beaches

Korčula is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic — from sandy shores in Lumbarda to secluded pebble coves only reachable by boat. Whether you’re after a family-friendly swim or a hidden bay all to yourself, the island has a beach for every kind of day.

Bačva beach

A sheltered pebble cove just a short walk from Korčula’s old town, Bačva is a local favourite for good reason. Clear turquoise water, a relaxed atmosphere and easy access make it a perfect spot for a quick afternoon swim.

Bratinja Luka Beach

Tucked away on the quieter side of the island, Bratinja Luka is a small pebble bay surrounded by pine trees and untouched nature. If you’re looking to escape the crowds and spend a peaceful day by the sea, this is it.

Prvi Žal Beach, Lumbarda

One of the rare sandy beaches on Korčula, Prvi Žal is a favourite among families and anyone who prefers sand between their toes over pebbles. The shallow, warm water and open surroundings make it ideal for a long, lazy beach day.

Przina Beach, Lumbarda

Another sandy gem near Lumbarda, Przina stretches along a gentle bay with shallow crystal-clear water. Surrounded by vineyards and pine forest, it has a uniquely calm, almost hidden feel — worth every minute of the drive.

Pupnatska Luka Beach

Set at the end of a scenic valley on the south side of the island, Pupnatska Luka is one of Korčula’s most beautiful and secluded bays. The drive through olive groves and countryside is part of the experience — and the pristine pebble beach at the end makes it all worthwhile.

Samograd Beach

A wild, untouched cove accessible only on foot or by boat, Samograd rewards those willing to make the effort. Crystal water, dramatic cliffs and total seclusion — this is the kind of beach you keep to yourself.

Vaja Beach

A quiet pebble beach on the outskirts of Korčula town, Vaja offers calm waters and a laid-back local vibe without the summer crowds. Perfect for an early morning swim or a relaxed evening dip as the sun goes down.
